TFM structural engineers provided design to Neshamkin French Architects for this 4-story addition to a two-story, concrete structure. The 90,000sf building has 180 apartment units over first floor retail space and 15,000sf of lower level parking. The intentions for constructing the apartments was to lease the units to a local university for student housing. The design involved a unique structural system for transferring loads from the upper story addition to the lower story existing building. The construction was completed by Metric Corporation in the summer of 2016.
