“Tour De Manch” Bike Tour to Support Conservation Commission

The Manchester Conservation Commission’s annual bike tour, “Tour De Manch,” will be held September 9th, 2018, beginning at Eversource Energy Park in Manchester.  This family-friendly bike ride offers a 30-mile or 40-mile route around the city of Manchester, NH.  The event benefits the Manchester Conservation Fund which provides financial support for citywide environmental projects including education, conservation, and restoration of our natural resources.

TFMoran’s Senior Project Manager Nicholas Golon, PE is the event Chair for the Conservation Commission board. “The event continues to grow each year, both in numbers and in sights” said Nick Golon.  “The tour is so much more than a bike ride, it is a great way to show riders a different side of their city they may otherwise never get to see, meet new people from their community, and help support a worthy cause in protecting Manchester’s natural resources”.

Riders will depart from Energy Park, 780 N. Commercial Street, at approximately 7:30 a.m. Sights along the route include Rock Rimmon, the Piscataquog Rail Trail, Nutts Pond Recreation Trail, Aviation Museum of New Hampshire, Lake Massabesic and the historic Weston Observatory.  The tour offers t-shirts, rest stops, bike support and finishes with lunch, generously provided by the Puritan Backroom. Registration is $25 for adults, $10 for children 6-13, and free for kids under 6.  The registration fee goes directly into the Manchester Conservation Fund.

Since 1989, the Manchester Conservation Commission has worked to preserve the city’s natural resources for the benefit of its citizens and wildlife.  By protecting these resources, we help improve water and air quality, preserve rare species of plants and animals, provide recreational and educational opportunities, and mitigate the impacts of storms and flooding.  The bike tour is our primary fundraiser.

TFMoran Hosts 2018 NHCIBOR Realtor-of-the-Year Awards BBQ

We invite you to view this short video produced by SNHU Marketing Intern Maddie Preston – Enjoy!

TFMoran yet again hosted the NHCIBOR BBQ at the TFM Bedford office on Thursday June 14, 2018. Despite the strong winds throughout the evening, the weather for this year’s barbeque was beautiful! The theme this year was “Celebrations”. Celebrating the NHCIBOR award recipients and TFMoran’s 50th year! All throughout the event were colors of blue and gold to represent the company turning 50 years old; but of course, some red to represent CIBOR!

There was a great turnout of over 150 NHCIBOR members and guests, TFMoran staff and their families. The Wine’ing Butcher of Bedford grilled steak tips and turkey tips, burgers and dogs. The gals from The Inside Scoop served up blueberry and buttercrunch ice cream for everyone to enjoy. Two cakes were presented at the end of the event. One to congratulate the two winners of the NHCIBOR Awards, “Realtor of the Year” to Douglas W. Martin with Colliers International, and “Affiliate of the Year” to Tenley Callaghan, Esq with Cleveland Waters and Bass. The second cake was to celebrate TFMoran’s 50th year.  TFMoran’s President, Robert Duval, gave a brief speech to open up the awards. Mr. Duval then passed over the microphone to TFMoran’s COO, Dylan Cruess, who spoke about the success of the event and the appreciation for the NHCIBOR members, along with the help that TFMoran employees gave to make the evening outstanding. NHCIBOR’s President, Ralph Valentine, announced the awards followed by the prizes given out from the raffle.

Congratulations to the award recipients and thank you to all the NHCIBOR members for joining us for another memorable evening. Also, a big thank you to all the TFM staff who helped make this another successful event!

TFMoran Hosts August Network PM for Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce

TFMoran proudly celebrated hosting the Greater Manchester of Commerce Network PM event for the 19th consecutive year on Thursday, August 20th. Over 200 chamber members, guests, TFMoran staff, and their families enjoyed an amazing summer barbecue on the front lawn of the Bedford office. “Growing Business in New Hampshire” was this year’s theme and it focused on some TFMoran’s projects over the last year.  These projects include a major new distribution center, a new manufacturing facility, a Whole Foods market, a new University library, a grand hotel, and many multi-family residences. TFMoran’s engineers, surveyors and landscape architects were on hand to talk about our recent projects and how we play a critical role in growing New Hampshire’s economy.

The Wine’ing Butcher did a great job grilling steak tips, burgers and dogs, while The Inside Scoop topped off dinner with their delicious ice cream, and it was a perfect night for ice cream! The Royal Bouquet had two beautiful flower arrangements that were included in the door prizes. All three businesses are located at the French-Atwood Marketplace in Bedford.

The Chamber president Michael Skelton introduced Dylan Cruess, TFMoran’s Chief Operating Officer, who welcomed everyone and acknowledged the TFM staff for their hard work in making this event a success.

TFMoran Hosts Manchester Chamber of Commerce Cookout

On Thursday, August 7th, TFMoran hosted the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce monthly Network PM event for the for the 15th consecutive year.  It was a beautiful New Hampshire evening with a slight breeze and lots of valuable networking for the more than 150 attendees.  TFMoran has learned the secret to a great event is good food, plentiful drinks, Jimmy Buffett music, and ice cream for everyone!  The cookout featured food and decorations from three local Bedford businesses:  Steak tips, grilled chicken, and burgers were prepared by The Wine’ing Butcher, ice cream was served by The Inside Scoop, and flower arrangements were provided by the Royal Bouquet.  TFMoran greatly values our relationship with the Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the local business community.  We are proud to have hosted the August Network PM event for the last 15 years and look forward to the years ahead.

Special thanks go out to all the TFM employees that volunteered at the cookout by setting up, tending the bar, and cleaning up afterwards!
