TFMoran Attends Gammon Academy Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

TFMoran was honored to attend the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Easterseals Gammon Academy — a transformative project that will have lasting impact on the community and families across the state. Representing TFMoran at the event were Chief Operating Officer, Dylan Cruess, Senior Structural Engineer, Kyle Roy, and Senior Civil Project Manager, Jeremy Belanger. As the civil and structural engineering firm behind this inspiring new facility, it was a proud and emotional moment to celebrate alongside our partners and community leaders.

The morning began with a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony on the grounds of the new school. The event featured moving remarks from various board members of Easterseals NH and trustees of the Bernadine Herron Estate, as well as Manchester Mayor Jay P. Ruais, Joseph H. Campbell, President of North Branch Construction, and Steve Thiel, Assistant Vice President of Community Impact at Southern New Hampshire University. Each speaker highlighted the importance of investing in specialized, supportive education spaces for children with significant behavioral health needs.

Following the ceremony, attendees were invited on a guided tour of the new Gammon Academy. Student ambassadors paired with advisors led visitors through the bright and thoughtfully designed classrooms, multi-purpose spaces, and other interior features. One of the standout moments was viewing the brand-new, accessible, and inclusive state-of-the-art playground, a joyful and welcoming environment where every child can learn and play safely.

TFMoran’s Role in Bringing the Gammon Academy to Life

TFMoran is proud to provide a full range of services for the new Easterseals Gammon Academy, including:

  • Civil/site engineering

  • Structural engineering

  • Surveying

  • Landscape architecture

  • Stormwater monitoring

  • Construction administration

  • Permitting services

The two-story, 27,000± square foot school is located on Easterseals’ existing 20-acre campus on Zachary Road in Manchester, NH. Designed specifically to meet the needs of students ages 5 to 21 with significant behavioral health challenges, the Gammon Academy will bring vital improvements to the residential education environment, enhancing both learning and care.

As a purpose-built facility, the Academy includes flexible multi-purpose classrooms designed for up to ten students, spaces for therapy and parent visits, and technology-enhanced areas for virtual meetings, staff training, and vocational programming. These additions support Easterseals’ mission to help individuals of all abilities live, learn, work, and play throughout their lifetimes with thoughtfully integrated services.

The project was made possible through a combination of public and private funding, including a $5 million grant from the Governor’s Office for Emergency Relief and Recovery (GOFERR) from the State of New Hampshire, matched by an additional $5 million from Easterseals NH. Construction began in October 2023 and is expected to be completed in September 2024. TFMoran worked closely with construction manager North Branch Construction and JSA Design to ensure every detail met the highest standards of functionality, safety, and care.

The opening of the Gammon Academy marks a new chapter for Easterseals and the families it serves, and TFMoran is incredibly proud to have played a part in bringing this vital resource to life. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this facility will have for years to come!

TFMoran Sponsors Bedford PTG’s 9th Annual Color Blast Fun Run

TFMoran is proud to again sponsor the Bedford PTG‘s 9th annual color blast run held on Sunday, June 1st. Dylan Cruess, TFMoran’s COO, participated in this event with his family, and they all had a great time!

The PTG Color Blast is a 2-mile family-friendly Fun Run/Walk to support the Bedford Schools. Participants can run or walk and throughout the course are color stations where they are “blasted” with color powder. There was music played, and water stations spread throughout the course as well.  At the very end you can expect to look like a colorful rainbow and reward yourself with a sweet treat from the Kona Ice, Travelin’ Tom’s or Crumbs on Cambridge food trucks!

TFMoran loves supporting the Bedford PTG to help raise funds for the PTG’s mission of providing students, staff and families enriching activities in schools and our community.

TFMoran is proud to be a gold level sponsor for this event. As always, we had a BLAST participating!
