Construction is well under way on the Townsend Fire Station. TFMoran provided structural design services for the new construction of this single-story fire station, with a small mezzanine. The building has six apparatus bays, training, office and bunk spaces with a total size of approximately 12,000sf. The building is comprised of energy efficient insulated concrete formed walls supporting a steel framed roof. It is sure to be a positive addition to the architecture of Townsend’s town common area. The project architect is Udelsman Associates of Hollis, NH and the general contractor is Goguen Construction.
