Lake Point Village – A Waterfront 55 and Older Community

TFMoran provided structural design services to Maugel Architects for a new 55 and older waterfront community on Pocksha Pond in Lakeville, MA. TFMoran Structural Engineers provided design of the framing for Lake Point Village‘s two, 36-unit wood-framed senior apartment buildings. Each unit is on a single-level and floorplans range from 1,285 to 1,375 square feet with views of Pocksha Pond and surrounding cranberry bogs. Amenities include private balconies, library and gathering room, workout area and walking trails. The waterfront property also features underground parking garages below the three-story residences. The project also included a dramatic gable and dormered roof to fit in with the pondside setting.

Lake Point Village was developed by First Colony Development Co. and is marketed exclusively by Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. Lobisser & Ferreira Construction Corp is the construction company.
