The Bedford planning board recently approved amended plans to “Market & Main”, a walkable, pedestrian-friendly development located at the former Macy’s site on S. River Road. The developer is Encore Enterprises of Dallas, TX and the project architect is Stack & Company of Boston, MA The new plan includes retail, restaurant, office, and hotel space in several multi-tenant and stand-alone buildings. When phase 2 is complete, the lifestyle center will offer a variety of dining options, retail stores, and outdoor gathering spaces for consumers to enjoy.
Phase 1, which opened in Spring 2019, includes Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe’s, and The Friendly Toast. Phase 2 is now underway with the construction of REI Co-op.
TFMoran has been providing civil/site and traffic engineering, permitting, land surveying, and landscape architectural services, as well as structural engineering services for the project.
