TFMoran is Celebrating National Land Surveyors Week – March 18-24, 2018

This week TFMoran is celebrating National Land Surveyors Week (March 18-24) by recognizing our professional surveyors, survey technicians and survey crews! Jim O’Neil, LLS, Chief of Survey, heads up our Survey Department which is made up of 15 dedicated individuals working out of both the Bedford and Portsmouth, NH offices. TFMoran’s survey staff include licensed surveyors in the states of New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont and North Carolina. They are a crucial part of the TFMoran team using the latest technology for field data collection including Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) which allows data to be collected in the field while being received in the office for greater quality control and a new level of productivity. By using a combination of Robotic Total Station, GPS Hybrid Positioning and Topcon Robotic Hybrid Positioning System our team is more efficient at every phase of a project, saving our clients time and money. Many of our surveyors are members of the New Hampshire Land Surveying Association and we are grateful to the association for their support.

In addition to the National Society of Professional Surveyors recognizing this special week, New Hampshire Governor Christopher T. Sununu has signed a State of NH Proclamation for Land Surveyors Week, , which reads in part: New Hampshire Land Surveyor’s Association for the past 49 years has aimed to provide a public benefit by helping licensed land surveyors grow professionally beyond licensure and to achieve excellence in their profession through professional outreach and education programs; and Land Surveyors are very important to infrastructure in the State of New Hampshire and are worthy of our appreciation.

President Trump has also acknowledged National Land Surveyors week by signing a message to the nation recognizing the important role professional surveyors have in the growth of our economy, development of our infrastructure, as well as, honoring the contributions and accomplishments of professional surveyors throughout American history and their vision for our future.

TFMoran will be highlighting our hard working and dedicated surveyors throughout the week, starting with our Chief of Survey and Vice President, James O’Neil, LLS and Portsmouth Division Manager and Principal, Corey Colwell, LLS.
