Happy Halloween from TFMoran!

TFMoran celebrated the end of the week with some Halloween festivities last Friday!

The Bedford office enjoyed an assortment of mac and cheese from Mr. Mac’s! Those with a sweet tooth enjoyed Maryanne’s festive desserts: witch’s finger cookies and oatmeal carmelitas!

A costume contest was held, Alex was the funniest for his “three-hole punch” costume, Julia was the spookiest for her “Georgie” from It, and Robin and Maryanne were best overall for their “Mary Mary Quite Contrary” group costume! Maryanne dressed in her gardening attire, while Robin represented her flowers! Coworkers faced off in Pumpkin Strongman – seeing who could hold the pumpkin the longest. Zac won the contest with a whopping time of 2:26, with Nick coming in a close second at 2:20.

The Portsmouth office also celebrated with their costumes – check out their festive photo above!

TFM Celebrates Halloween with a TGIF Party!

TFM celebrated the end of the week with some Halloween festivities last Friday! Employees enjoyed fall favorites from the Puritan Back Room including chicken tenders and mac & cheese! For those with a sweet tooth, Maryanne Murray brought in some festive desserts: witch’s finger cookies and mummy apple pies!

The winners of the Reese’s and candy corn jars were announced, which had been on display all week for employees to guess. Mike Krzeminski had the closest guess on the Reese’s, while Steve Bibeau was closest on the candy corn. Members from the Civil, Structural, and Landscape Architecture teams faced off to claim victory in the “Pumpkin Strongman” competition, which Structural Engineer Ezequiel Galvan won. Others tested their speed in mummy wrapping a colleague. Marty Gavin and Sharon Monahan won the prize with the quickest wrap, but Julia Chartier and Diane Martineau definitely earned style points! A few daring souls dressed in costume hoping to receive votes from their peers for the grand prize: a $50 gift card to Market Basket! Jeff Tate pulled out all the stops, sporting an inflatable piggyback on the witch costume, which was voted winner, although honorable mentions included Alex Croteau’s Indiana Jones and Chris Chiaramonte’s koala!

The TFM Portsmouth division also celebrated the spooky holiday with Halloween-themed festivities! Employees were invited to dress in costume and eat chilling snacks from Buffalo Wild Wings. Names were drawn of who would be mummified with toilet paper, and all were encouraged to participate in a pumpkin carving contest!

TFM takes a break for a little Halloween fun

Spider webs wrapped around the stairwell and bats flew around a black light lit ceiling. Glow sticks and candy scattered the tables while strobe lights flashed through the mirrors.  Spooky creatures like spiders, ghosts and haunted pumpkins filled the TFMoran lobby, creatively decorated by receptionist Jenn Clark. Friday October 26th was the perfect day for a company Halloween party. The ghost busters theme song played through the speakers as the staff enjoyed Puritan’s famous chicken tenders along with an assortment of other delicious foods. And, thanks to Maryanne Murray for making her festive witch’s finger and spider cookies.

Games were played and laughs were had. After a week of voting “how many pieces of candy corn are in the jar”, Shaun Vando came closest guessing 795, just 9 pieces short of the actual count of 804. Dylan Cruess took the win for the first ever pumpkin toss, beating out anyone who dared challenge him. After competing against multiple coworkers, Adam Jimenez also managed to come out on top as the winner for the Pumpkin Strongman. Many employees came dressed in their best Halloween costumes hoping to win two tickets to Haunted Acres. Although all the costumes were  excellent, Jeff Tate was voted number one as he sported a cow costume.
