Insightful Stormwater Solutions Lunch & Learn with Contech

TFMoran’s Bedford Civil and Stormwater engineers welcomed Joshua Stackhouse from Contech Engineered Solutions for a Lunch and Learn focused on stormwater management. Josh emphasized Contech’s collaborative approach—supporting projects from design to construction, not just supplying products.

The presentation covered a range of underground detention systems, including CMP and DERMAX, and highlighted the benefits of maximizing land use while reducing maintenance costs. Josh also stressed the importance of proper installation and on-site supervision, which Contech offers at no extra charge to help ensure compliance and long-term success.

Attendees were introduced to new technologies, like a watertight plastic pipe reinforced with steel, and explored real-world examples such as the Concord Aviation Readiness Center project. The session wrapped up with a live demo of Contech’s design tools, giving the team a hands-on look at customizing stormwater solutions.

Thank you again Contech and Josh for an insightful presentation and the delicious sandwiches from Pressed Cafe! Our Portsmouth team of engineers are looking forward to your presentation and demonstration in October!
