Hundred Nights Emergency Shelter and Resource Center

TFMoran structural engineers worked closely with Market Square Architects on a new 15,000 sf, 48-bed facility for Hundred Nights Shelter in Keene, NH. The new building will consolidate the shelter’s services into one centralized location. The facility consists of a resource center, full kitchen, donations room, laundry facilities, and offices for management to better support the community. The 3-story building has two handicap-accessible shelter beds and bathrooms on the first floor, women’s and family dormitories on the second floor, and men’s dormitories on the third floor. Each dormitory floor also includes space for an overnight staff reception desk and overnight staff sleeping quarters. Outside, a fenced-in courtyard with benches, tables, a garden, and fruit trees will provide a safe space for clients to spend time off the streets and out of the woods. The location is also within walking distance of key partners and services.

The non-profit community shelter project opened in the Fall of 2023.
