North Conway Fire Station

TFMoran provided structural design for a new 16,000 sf fire station in the village of North Conway. This multi-level facility consists of five apparatus bays, office space and a separate decontamination and gear area on the first level. The second level includes sleeping quarters, storage, and training areas. The building also includes a fitness area, partial basement, and hose tower. The building is a structural steel frame with granite and brick masonry veneer.

The new $6.7 million North Conway Fire Station is located at 70 Norcross Circle on the site of the former one-story brick station that was demolished in July of 2020. The project was completed ahead of schedule and on-budget during the pandemic year.

The project team included Samyn-D’Elia Architects of Holderness, general contractor Ricci Construction of Portsmouth, and project manager REI Service Corp of Concord.

The official dedication was held on Saturday, May 22, 2021. New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu was invited, along with other State of New Hampshire dignitaries, local officials, members of the Fire Department, the project team, and the public.
