TFMoran was proud to be a Cause Sponsor of the 8th annual Veterans Count SOS event, “On The Tarmac” held on September 10, 2021, at Pease Airforce Base in Portsmouth, NH. The event was put on to help raise funds for our service members, veterans, and their families, in celebration of America, in tribute to our heroes, and to honor the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

Corey Colwell and Chris Rice, TFMoran Principals in the Seacoast Division office, attended the event which included food and drink while getting a first look at the aircraft to be featured in the airshow the next day, meeting the Thunderbird pilots, and watching the US Para-Commandos jump in for a visit! For the finale, the sky was lit up in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

Atlantic Orthopaedics New Surgery Center Featured in High Profile

A recent project of TFMoran’s Seacoast Division, Atlantic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine’s new ambulatory surgery center “New England Center for Orthopaedic Surgery”  is featured in High Profile Monthly‘s June issue focused on Healthcare Facilities! The project, which is in its second phase, is expected to be complete this summer.

The first phase of the project was completed in 2016. Phase two began with an amended site plan, approved by the city in 2019. The project team for both phases included Hereford Dooley Architects, and BBL Construction Services, working closely with the City of Portsmouth and affiliate Portsmouth Regional Hospital. TFMoran provided civil/ site design, permitting, land surveying, landscape architecture, and construction administrative services for the project located on 1900 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, NH.

Cheryl Smith joins TFMoran as Seacoast Division Office Manager

Cheryl Smith has joined TFMoran as Office Manager for the Seacoast Division in Portsmouth, NH. Ms. Smith has an Associate of Science degree in Applied Plant Science from the University of New Hampshire in Durham. She has over thirty years of experience in business and operations management, having held various managerial positions for seacoast area businesses prior to joining TFMoran.

TFMoran promotes Eric Salovitch to Seacoast Division Survey PM

Eric Salovitch, LLS has been promoted to Survey Project Manager for TFMoran’s seacoast division, based in Portsmouth, NH. Mr. Salovitch joined TFMoran in 2019 as Survey Technician with many years of experience in boundary, topographic, municipal, and utility surveys. He is a Licensed Land Surveyor in the state of New Hampshire and a certified crew chief. Additionally, Mr. Salovitch is an FAA Part 107 Certified Pilot and is responsible for TFMoran’s drone surveying including aerial mapping, construction monitoring and volume calculations. His education includes studies at the Thompson School of Applied Science where he studied Civil Technology with a concentration in Surveying and Mapping. Mr. Salovitch is currently the Vice President of the New Hampshire Land Surveyors Association. He is formerly Chair of the Young Surveyor’s Network, NH Society and helped develop the NH Young Surveyors. Mr. Salovitch has also been a guest sharing his experience on podcast episodes for “The Geoholics” and the National Society of Professional Surveyors “Surveyor Says!”.

Justin Macek joins TFMoran’s Seacoast Division’s Civil Engineering Department

TFMoran’s Portsmouth office welcomes Justin Macek, EIT to the team as a Civil Project Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of New Hampshire in Durham. Mr. Macek has civil/site engineering experience in both New Hampshire and California, including environmental sampling, stormwater management, hydraulic modeling, parking lot design, and construction inspection.
