TFMoran Sponsors Hopkinton and John Stark Regional High School’s FIRST Robotics Team OzRam 1922

TFMoran is sponsoring Hopkinton High School and John Stark Regional High School’s FIRST Robotics Team OzRam 1922 for the 2025 Season. The team consists of students from Weare, Henniker, and Hopkinton, participating in the global FIRST Robotics Program. Each season, the team builds a robot from materials including mechanical gears, motors, and software to compete with other regional and worldwide teams in the yearly FIRST Robotics Challenge.

This program relies on financial sponsorships to support team activities. Sponsorship allows the team to attend local, regional (and hopefully international) events, update components for their robots, equip their lab, and help promote STEM!

TFMoran Sponsors City Year New Hampshire’s 25th Anniversary Gala!

City Year New Hampshire is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering students and schools, while also cultivating the next generation of civically engaged leaders who can bridge divides. AmeriCorps members from City Year provide critical support to K-12 students, classrooms, and entire schools. Partnering schools see up to two to three times greater improvement in English and math assessments, and students who engage more with AmeriCorps members show significant growth in their social, emotional, and academic skills—helping them excel in school and become active contributors to their communities.

2025 marks 25th anniversary of the Starry Starry Night Fundraising Gala, a remarkable event that unites community members, business leaders, advocates, and service champions for a memorable evening in support of the vital work City Year’s Student Success Coaches are doing for students and schools across New Hampshire. The evening will feature a silent and live auction, dinner, and an inspiring program that highlights City Year’s transformative impact in the community and beyond.

TFMoran Sponsors Bedford High School’s FIRST Robotics Team, Red Storm 509

TFMoran is proud to sponsor Bedford High School’s FIRST Robotics team, Red Storm 509. FIRST, which stands for: “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”, is a global nonprofit organization that prepares young people for the future through inclusive, team-based robotics programs. These programs, available to students from PreK – Grade 12, ignite a passion for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) by providing hands-on learning experiences.

At BHS, Red Storm 509 members are guided by mentors who help them embody FIRST’s Core Values as they research, fundraise, design, build, and showcase their robots in competitive challenges. This process fosters teamwork, self-confidence, and collaborative problem-solving skills that will serve students well in the future.

By sponsoring Red Storm 509, TFMoran is excited to support a program that not only sparks students’ interest in STEM but also opens doors to educational and career opportunities, setting them on a path toward a brighter future! Red Storm 509 will take their 2024 robot, Crescendo, to competitions across New England, aiming for a spot at the 2025 FIRST Championship in Houston, Texas, this April!

TFMoran Sponsors The Palace Theatre “Forever Emma” Golf Classic

TFMoran was a proud sponsor of the Palace Theatre “Forever Emma” Golf Classic, which supports the Forever Emma Scholarship Fund. Established in memory of Bedford, NH resident Emma Bechert. The fund aims to provide opportunities for children to engage in the arts.

The tournament was held Friday, September 20, 2024 at the Passaconaway Country Club in Litchfield, NH. It featured a shotgun start in a scramble format, along with a lively 19th hole reception, lunch, and an awards ceremony.

TFMoran sponsored the “Beat the Pro” contest, where teams had the chance to compete against Matt Anderson, PGM I , Passaconaway’s Golf Pro, for prizes from the club. A special thank you to Matt for his invaluable support in making “Beat the Pro” a successful fundraiser!

The TFMoran team included Dan Blais, Senior Project Manager from the Stormwater Department; Doug Blais, from the Palace Theater and Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU); Ken Nivison, from SNHU; and Stephen Oberto, Assistant Golf Coach at Campbell High School

The TFMoran team emerged victorious in the contest, finishing an impressive 10 under par!

TFMoran Sponsors Friends of Aine 12th Annual Kid’s Try-Athlon

TFMoran sponsored the 12th Annual Friends of Aine Kids Try-Athlon, held Sunday, August 11th at Bedford High School. This community event now attracts over 300 racers, along with hundreds of spectators and volunteers. All event proceeds support bereavement services offered at the Friends of Aine Center for Grieving Children & Families.

The NHCIBOR annual summer mixer was held on Thursday, August 8th at Birchwood Vineyards in Derry, NH. TFMoran was a platinum sponsor of the event. Attendees enjoyed networking, appetizers, refreshments, a silent auction, and the Annual NH CIBOR Cares Recognition Awards.

All proceeds from the silent auction benefit NH CIBOR Cares, a charitable organization that provides assistance to various organizations and individuals in need during emergency situations.

TFMoran Sponsors St. Anselm College 32nd Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament

On Monday June 24th, TFMoran COO Dylan Cruess and Dan Blais, Senior Project Manager attended the 32nd annual scholarship golf tournament hosted by Saint Anselm College. They were joined by Liam Watts, Brian White, Municipal Program Director at Freedom Energy Logistics, and Carol Anne Watts, Vice President of Sales at Freedom Energy Logistics.

TFMoran sponsored hole 3, with a closest-to-the-pin competition. After the tournament, there was a buffet with food and drinks and a raffle to bring the day to an end. TFMoran was very happy to attend this annual tournament and enjoy a fun golf day.

TFMoran Sponsors Bedford’s First Robotics Team Red Storm 509

FIRST Robotics Team Red Storm 509 (sponsored by TFMoran) had many successes during their 2023-2024 season. Because of our donation, the team was able to host two FIRST robotics events, as well as expand their robotics mentorship by starting an additional FTC team, and begin a new FLL initiative through their new team.

This year was one of the most successful years for the Bedford First Robotics Team. With the help of our donation, they were one of two teams to earn the Engineering Inspiration award at the New England district championship event. Not only that, but the team placed 10th in their division, thereby placing the team in the top 2% of teams worldwide.

TFMoran as always is happy to help support the future of engineering. We are proud to be a sponsor and look forward to supporting your future endeavors! Great job!

TFMoran is a wing sponsor for the 4th annual Angels Giving Back Road Race that will be held on June 8th, 2024, in Johnston, RI.

Angels Giving Back is a non-profit organization honoring Mario and Valia Coletta, the founders of Colbea Enterprises / Seasons Corner Market. This charitable organization seeks to honor their legacy and generosity, holding several fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for various charities that were close to their hearts. 100% of profits raised at this event will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association, the Tomorrow Fund, and Polycystic Kidney Foundation.

Partnering in STEM Education: TFMoran and the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center

TFMoran is honored to be a Corporate Member and proud sponsor of the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, a dynamic science museum that inspires visitors of all ages to reach for the stars. Through immersive, artistic, and entertaining exhibits and programs, the Center encourages exploration of astronomy, aviation, Earth, and space sciences.

The museum is a tribute to two New Hampshire heroes: Christa McAuliffe, the Concord High School teacher chosen by NASA as the first Teacher in Space, and Alan Shepard, the Derry native who became the first American in space.

Among the many exciting features at the Discovery Center are a full-sized replica of the Mercury-Redstone rocket, a state-of-the-art full-dome digital planetarium, and an observatory that brings the wonders of the universe within reach.
