TFMoran is a sponsor of NH Business Review‘s ‘Real Estate and Construction’ section in its most recent issue, which features the article “Environmental Due Diligence of Commercial Property“. The article suggests commercial purchasers determine a property’s environmental condition by working with an experienced Environmental Professional.

TFMoran offers Environmental Professional services, with environmental scientists on staff who work to identify and solve existing environmental issues efficiently and in full conformance. Our professional staff includes Wetland Scientists, Certified Professionals in Sediment and Erosion Control (CPESC) and Certified Erosion Sediment and Storm Water Inspectors (CESSWI). These specialized certifications are required for many environmentally sensitive projects.

TFMoran’s Nick Golon participates in Business NH Magazine Roundtable

Senior Project Manager Nick Golon, PE participated in Business NH Magazine’s roundtable discussion “Construction in the Age of COVID”, published in October 2020. Business NH gathered construction industry leaders for a virtual discussion of the challenges and opportunities their industry has experienced throughout the pandemic.

Topics covered include new and current opportunities, future uncertainty, supply chain issues, workforce challenges, company culture, regulatory climate, and what the future looks like for the construction industry. Addressing company culture and the toll the pandemic has taken on employees and their families, Nick says that “You’ve got to show empathy and find a solution that works for the company and for your people”. Additionally, he tells Business NH that “We had to re-evaluate and figure out how to keep our people busy. We’ve been very blessed that we have been able to do so.”

The article also featured one of TFMoran’s civil engineering and landscape architecture projects nearing completion, The Chandler Apartments, located at Goffe Mill Plaza on South River Road in Bedford.

TFMoran on 3 Award-Winning Teams – ABC NH/VT 2019 Excellence in Construction Awards

TFMoran’s civil engineers Jeff Kevan and Nick Golon, along with TFMoran structural engineers Eric Picard and Matt Mullen attended the Associated Builders and Contractors NH/VT Chapter on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Members were welcome to join the event at 4:30pm for the cocktail reception, followed by dinner and the Excellence in Construction Awards Presentation in the Four Rivers Ballroom; held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown.

During the Excellence in Construction Awards presentation, the focus was on “Recognizing the outstanding merit shop projects in New England.” ABC is a national construction industry trade association that represents nearly 21,000-chapter members. ABC’s mission is to help members develop people, ensure a strong work ethic, and profitability and advancement of the communities ABC works with.

TFMoran is proud to be a silver sponsor for the awards event and is honored to be recognized on three of the award-winning teams!

Saint Anselm College Roger & Francine Jean Student Center Complex ~ Manchester, NH
TFMoran worked alongside Derck & Edson and Eckman Construction to provide surveying and civil engineering services. The Student Center complex remodeling included the transformation of the existing building and built a second-floor function room, café, and bookstore allowing more space for community gatherings.

Pro Star Aviation ~ Londonderry, NH
TFMoran worked with PROCON, the design build construction manager, performing survey, civil/site engineering, landscape design, permitting, and construction administration services.

Land Rover Dealership Redevelopment ~ Bedford, NH
TFMoran worked closely Warrenstreet Architects and Eckman Construction providing services of civil/site/traffic and structural engineering, permitting, and landscape architecture. Land Rover’s new rebuild is one of the first standalone dealership to feature the “ARCH’ concept.

TFMoran provides civil/structural design for parking complex to serve Millyard growth

While it may seem unusual to compare a construction project to a dance, progress on the newly completed Southern New Hampshire University Milllyard Parking Garage was a delicate balance necessitating carefully calculated timing throughout the process.

“It was a very compact site,” says Bob Duval, president of TFMoran — which provided survey, civil engineering, structural engineering, site permitting and landscape architectural services. “There was little to no adjacent land available for staging and temporary construction operations. The site had to be broken up into a chess board of construction phasing.” Due to strict space limitations on-site, the garage containing approximately 1,700 parking spaces, abutting South Commercial Street, the Merrimack River and the Langer Place Mill in the south end of the Millyard, was approached with a careful eye on the next move, every step of the way.
